Exuma is a district in the marvelous Bahamas. This district is made of 360 small islands and the largest of the lot is the Great Exuma at 37 miles, which is joined via a bridge with Little Exuma. The capital of the district is George Town. For the record, the noted Islands magazine had voted Great Exuma as one of the top 5 islands to live on.
Like the rest of the Bahamas, the Exuma islands are all about tourism. The islands are known for sailing, cave exploring, diving, and yachting. Another feature of the islands is the unnamed beaches and offshore reefs and coves are protected in the Exuma National Land and Sea Park.
