The Green Cover of Monteverde

The rainforest of Monteverde includes hundreds of species of wildlife from mammals to birds. It is home to more than 400 species of birds. Of all the plants, the orchid is the most famous.
Monteverde Cloud Forest is situated in the Cordillera of Tilarán. Once in Costa Rica, you will never experience a dull moment. Besides the Cloud Forest Reserves, the Hanging Gardens, too, is popular.
The forest reserves give nature lovers a wonderful opportunity to explore. The trails are well maintained and allow you to see the wide range of plant and animal species. Some of the plants and trees grow around a host. The experiences of the rainforest leave a lasting impression of the mind.
The Children’s Eternal Cloud Forest is another rainforest. However, it is not dense. Serpentarium is home to many snake species. Frog Pond houses exhibits of amphibians. The poison dart frog is extremely popular. The other popular tours include coffee plantation, night tours, bat exhibit, insect exhibit, and the Cheese Factory tour. Horse riding and shopping for souvenirs are also famous.
Canopy tour make the adrenaline rush. It takes you through and ultimately above the rainforest. Banks, restaurants, and supermarkets, too, abound in number. Coffee Tour is exclusive to Costa Rica. Monteverde produces some of the best coffee. With the help of the tour, you can learn organic methods of farming.
Besides the landscapes and vegetation, the hospitality of the Tico population draws thousands of visitors. The inhabitants of Monteverde are a microcosm for the larger population.
The clear waters, fresh air, and species of animals have made Costa Rica a part of every traveler’s destination. The Quetzal, three-wattled bellbird, bare-necked umbrella bird, and golden toad are exclusive to Costa Rica.
All these features have made the rainforests of Monteverde one of the Seven Wonders of Costa Rica. The other wonders include Cocos Island, Tortuguero, Arenal Volcano, Chirripo Mountain, Celeste River, and Poas Volcano.
