The Green Cover of Monteverde

Monteverde is renowned for its two non-profit reserves that span nearly 24 km. The two reserves are Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve.

The Children’s Eternal Cloud Forest is another rainforest. However, it is not dense. Serpentarium is home to many snake species. Frog Pond houses exhibits of amphibians.
