The Coiba National Park, which is locally called Parque Nacional Coiba, is one of the most visited tourist attraction of Panama. Coiba is situated in the western half of the Veraguas Province of Panama. The park covers a total area of around 667,000 acres; the largest share of the park boasts of a marine habitat.
Coiba National Park is not only famous for encompassing such a wide area, but also for the many as 39 islands housed by it. The biggest island housed by the park is Isla Coiba. Isla Coiba is not only the biggest island of Coiba, but also the largest one in whole of Panama.
