the Little Abaco and Great Abaco islands along with all the Cays, which include Walker’s Cay, Umbrella Cay, Stranger’s Cay, Great Stirrup Cay, Man-o-War Cay, Castaway Cay, Great Guana Cay, Lubbers Quarters Cay, Elbow Cay, and Wood Cay. These islands form a significant portion of the entire Bahamas nation, and the Abacos itself constitutes 5 districts of the total 31. The districts are Hope Town, Moore’s Island, South Abaco, North Abaco and Central Abaco.
The total population of the islands stands at 14,000, with the city of Marsh Habour the capital. The combined Abacos ranks as the third largest Bahamian island.

However, the town has much more than just the lighthouse, there is a beach, more popularly known as White Sound and has impressive surfing facilities along with clean sands. It is recommended you rent out a golf cart to move in around the place. Elbow Cay also has scuba diving facilities along with snorkeling trips and other general entertainment facilities.
Once done with Elbow cay, you can travel northwards to the Great Guana Cay, which is famous for impressive beaches
along with wonderful bars and restaurants. The food specialty here is the tasty Sunday Native Pork Roast.
Then there’s the Man of War Cay, which is more into boat building. The Treasure Cay has a spectacular resort and golf course. It also possesses one of the most beautiful beaches of the world as per a leading magazine, the Marina, which is undoubtedly the most crowded on the entire island.
