When talked about the Barro Colorado Island the first thing comes to mind is 3,600 acres of land resting in Lake Gatun.  It’s a biological reserve and research centre where experiments, research and observations are done in perfect environment by the scientists. As I was standing at the Amador Causeway, for my turn to get on board on a boat to reach Taboga Island, in my head all the pirate stories, hidden treasure and the scenery of the island was circling. I just could not wait to reach Taboga Island. The boat ticket cost me eight dollars but had to wait forty minutes for my turn, it seemed like ages. Though the island is small in size, but it is still secluded from the outer world. Number of tourists does come and visit this island, but as the sunset starts to melt in horizon, the last ferryboat at 6 o’clock takes back all the tourists to the city.
