Manuel Antonio national park is one of the finest reserves in Costa Rica. The rain forest is tropical in nature and includes the white-sand beaches. The park has different species of monkeys, parrots, toucans, and sloths. There are more than 350 different species of birds. This makes it a paradise for nature lovers. Once in the park, you are never lost because of the presence of walking trails.
The Manuel Antonio national park lies to the south of Quepos on the Pacific Coast. The evergreen forest spreads till the line marking high tide. The park contains primary and secondary forests, mangroves, swamps, lagoons, and beach habitats. The park comprises of 12 isles. Numerous dolphins and whales inhabit the sea.
